I'm very pleased to see the reformation of CIJA. I would encourage CIJA to apply for a UNESCO IPDC grant (information and application form attached).

Guidelines for submitting IPDC proposals are available.

Please do not submit equipment shopping lists. These will be immediately rejected by the Apia Office.

Please also be aware of the separate IPDC - UNESCO Rural Communication Prize. The prize was established to promote awareness of the role that rural communication plays in the development process. It consists of US$20,000 and a diploma. If you believe your organization satisfies the criteria, please apply.
